What is the Riyadh Timber shipping policy?
We ship across the Kingdom in three tiers: same-day inside Riyadh for orders before 11 AM, 2-5 business days for major Saudi cities, and 5-7 business days for remote sites. Our fleet ranges from 3-tonne trucks to 40-foot trailers with onboard side cranes.
We work with logistics partners licensed by the Saudi Transport General Authority, ensuring shipments comply with load-securing standards under the Saudi Road Freight Safety Manual.
Every shipment is dispatched with a digital waybill emailed to the customer, including plate number, driver name, expected arrival window, and a live tracking link.
Which delivery regions are covered?
We deliver to 10 main cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, Medina, Khobar, Tabuk, Hail, Buraydah, Abha. Riyadh inside the ring road is 24-hour service, other regions take 2-5 days, and locations beyond major cities are reached in 5-7 business days based on site.
Beyond the Riyadh ring road, transport is charged at **SAR 2 per kilometre** on the actual truck, added transparently to the invoice prior to loading.
Sites requiring security checkpoints or access cards in Vision 2030 mega-projects must be coordinated with the main contractor at least 24 hours before the delivery slot.
How long does delivery take?
Riyadh same day for orders before 11 AM and next-day after 11. Jeddah and Dammam 2-3 business days. Mecca, Medina, Khobar, Tabuk 3-4 days. Abha, Hail, Buraydah, Jouf 4-5 days. Remote sites 5-7 business days from order confirmation.
Order confirmation requires settlement of the 50% deposit and submission of the site address and GPS coordinates. Late payment or missing coordinates delays the start of the delivery window.
Heavy loads (above 20 tonnes) require Sari permits and an additional 12-24 hour lead time to issue the permit and coordinate the route with the Transport General Authority.
What are the steps from order to delivery?
Five steps: confirm the order and settle the 50% deposit, issue the waybill within 2 hours, load the warehouse on FIFO, transport along the approved route, then deliver and offload via site equipment or our onboard crane.
- Order confirmation: settle 50% via bank transfer or Mada/Visa, and submit GPS coordinates of the site.
- Waybill issuance: issued within 2 hours of confirmation, with waybill number, loading date, and expected arrival window.
- Warehouse loading: order is loaded FIFO and the load is secured with certified tie-down straps every 1.2 linear metres.
- Transport: the driver follows the approved route, speed limits, and load-safety rules, sharing live location through our shipping app.
- Delivery and offload: arrival within the confirmed window; offload uses site equipment, or our onboard crane at SAR 200 per hour when needed.
What is excluded from free delivery?
Five cases incur transport fees: orders below SAR 1,500, sites beyond the Riyadh ring road (SAR 2/km), oversized loads, deliveries outside business hours (Sat-Thu, 8 AM - 6 PM), and sites requiring forklifts above a 3-tonne capacity.
Oversized loads (longer than 12 metres or wider than 2.5 metres) require special permits from the Transport General Authority; permit costs and the escort vehicle are added to the invoice.
Deliveries on Fridays or outside official hours are available on request at an additional SAR 500 per truck, covering after-hours driver work.
