How does the ordering process work at Riyadh Timber?
The process runs in 4 steps: send the quantity list, receive a quote within 4 working hours, confirm payment, then receive the shipment within 24–48 hours inside Riyadh. Orders are processed in the order they arrive, with priority given to large project orders under framework agreements.
Customers can track order status at every stage via WhatsApp: receipt confirmation, quote issuance, payment receipt, truck loading, and expected arrival time. This transparency has been standing policy since 2017.
Repeat orders from the same customer can be placed via a single WhatsApp message listing the standard items, without the need to resend tax details or delivery addresses each time.
What products does Riyadh Timber supply?
We supply three main categories: construction timber (Indonesian plywood, Canadian SPF lumber, frame timber), finishing timber (MDF, oak, teak, beech), and timber accessories (nails, screws, form-release oil, plywood film). All categories are held in standing stock at the Al Olaya warehouse.
The structural category includes 122×244 cm plywood in 4–18 mm thicknesses, SPF lumber in 2×4, 2×6 and 2×8 inch sections, and 5×10 cm frame timber for concrete formwork. These are the highest-volume items on Riyadh sites.
The finishing category includes MDF panels in 9–25 mm thicknesses with raw or melamine surfaces, plus European oak, Burmese teak and German beech panels for premium doors, flooring and joinery.
Frequently asked questions about working with Riyadh Timber
The minimum for free Riyadh delivery is 200 plywood sheets or 100 cubic metres of sawn timber. Smaller quantities are collected from the Al Olaya showroom or carry an SAR 200–500 transport fee. For cities outside Riyadh the minimum is one full truckload.
We accept bank transfer to our Saudi National Bank account, Mada Business, bank cheques, and cash on delivery for amounts below SAR 20,000. Personal credit cards are not accepted for orders above SAR 5,000.
Yes. We offer net-30 credit to institutional customers with current commercial registration after a credit-file review and submission of a bank guarantee or post-dated cheque. The starting credit limit is SAR 50,000 and grows progressively based on payment history.
We replace any panel failing specification within 7 days of delivery with no questions asked. Returns for non-quality reasons (project cancellation, for example) are accepted within 3 days subject to a 15% restocking fee, provided the panels remain in original condition.
Yes. A ZATCA-compliant electronic invoice is issued with every order, including a QR code, 15% VAT and the company's tax number, and is sent as a PDF by email immediately upon order confirmation.
We supply ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, mill certificate of origin, and European E1 emissions certificate for indoor-use timber. Every shipment batch arrives with a density and moisture-content test report.
Yes. Structural timber complies with the Saudi Building Code SBC 201, and indoor timber complies with SBC 801 for fire protection on request. Compliance documentation accompanies every shipment to support engineering review.
Yes, we provide free samples for every timber type from the Al Olaya showroom, in 10×10 cm pieces. For samples shipped outside Riyadh a nominal SAR 50 fee applies, deducted from the actual order value at purchase.
Working hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday through Thursday, Saudi Arabia time. Friday is a public holiday. During Ramadan, hours shift to 10 AM–4 PM, then 9 PM–12 midnight.
24–48 hours from payment confirmation, to every Riyadh district. Orders confirmed before 12 noon are usually delivered the next working day. Delivery uses our 12-truck in-house fleet with payloads from 3 to 12 tonnes.
Yes. We supply NEOM, Red Sea, Qiddiya, Diriyah and New Murabba as a sub-tier supplier to main contractors or directly under framework agreements. Our trucks are pre-cleared by NEOM and The Line site security.
Yes, cut accuracy ±2 mm per a customer-supplied cut list. Available for every thickness up to 25 mm, with pieces numbered and bundled for fast on-site assembly. A fee of SAR 5–15 per piece applies depending on cut complexity.
